A visual art installation about Mumbai.

Explore Mumbai through its people, places, memories, cultures, histories and everyday stories. Imagine it as an installation for The Steps, a public place shared by the whole city.

About the festival

Eight Saturdays. One open stage.

Every winter, the Festival at The Steps celebrates life in the shared commons: music, dance, art, book swaps and workshops, free and open to all. This is its seventh edition.

Students and teachers can volunteer.

Help on festival Saturdays, at pre-festival events across the city, or with the murals. Volunteering is a chance to see how a public space comes alive, and to be part of it.
